The Rematch at the Goal Line
The Seahawks are heading back to the Super Bowl for their redemption game versus the Patriots! The road was tough, but the Seahawks pulled of a historic 14-3 run in their 50th season in the league.
What a better way to celebrate this milestone then playing the Patriots at Levi Stadium the home of the 49ers! You can’t right it!
To honor this historic season, I did what I do best and got creative and took it back to 1976.
I call this “The Rematch at the Goal Line”. This personal creative exploration is celebrating my city, the PNW, and of course the Seattle Seahawks! 🏈
This design is a typographic and symbolic study inspired by 50 years of Seahawks history, Pacific Northwest culture, and the identity of Seattle. I focused on creating a cohesive system of graphics that reference football history, the Emerald City, the PNW elements, and I couldn’t forget the fan culture-all unified through the original Seahawks blue.
The goal was to explore how a single brand can be expressed through multiple visual forms while still feeling consistent, timeless and recognizable.
This was a really fun project to create! It pushed my creative direction, storytelling and branding system thinking!
